Don't rock the boat.

I don’t want to rock the boat here.  I found that I stopped counting exactly how many calories I was consuming within a day over the past 3 days.  I figured that since I’ve been doing it for a while now, things would just start to come naturally.  That maybe so, but when you are trying to lose weight, you cannot take that lightly.  I started back up today making sure I’m over estimating and counting everything that goes in.

Wow approaching 2 months.

I must say that as this month comes to an end, I'm ready for it. I feel like I've lost what I could with the amount of time I've had. This month has been really rough workout wise though. I worked out more that last month, but not as much as I would have liked. With 4 classes hanging over my head, a wife who works opposite shifts, and 2 children, you blink your eyes and you miss a lot!  I plan on giving some things up so I should have some more time here next month to hit the gym, but I won't hold my breath.

My how the time flies

I can't believe it's almost been 2 months since this competition has started. So far these two months have been extremely busy, and about to get even more so. My other two classes at Lakeland start up this week.

On a side note, I've been stuck at this particular weight zone for another week. Maybe I'm just frustrating myself by weighing in every day?  I had a killer leg workout yesterday with Steve and JT. Maybe that will jumpstart my weight loss again.

Not a loser this week.

So in addition to the news herald contest, I'm doing one for work too. When I weighed in this week I was shocked to see I hadn't lost any weight. I guess I should be happy I didn't gain either. I only slipped one meal this week. It's weird though, even though I didn't lose any, I feel like I have. Hopefully next week will be different.

First workout

So this week I decided to get my butt in gear and start working out.  I went to the ymca on Monday, and worked out on the treadmill at work today.  Ill be honest,  when it comes to working out I'm not very motivated unless I have people to go with.  Monday I went with Steve, but today I pushed myself to do it by myself.  I never want to work out in the beginning but afterwards I'm always glad I did.  I want to thank the Lord for helping me come this far and helping me continue to be strict with my calorie intake.  I know its a life long journey, but it will be worth it.

Good week.

Had another good week this week. My body is going through some big changes.  My cloths are fitting a little different and I'm having more energy. I just can't let this stumble my progress...
